Over the winter of 2019 and 2020, Interact Showrooms were commissioned by PSA Group to manage the design, manufacture and distribution of a new electric vehicle charging unit to be used across 560 automotive dealers nationwide.
As a true specialist in the automotive retail sector, Interact Showrooms were PSA Group’s partner of choice to lead a project which would support the sales of electric vehicles across Vauxhall, Peugeot and DS Automobiles dealerships nationwide.
The process began with the design of 3 distinct branded units, with both the base structure and accompanying graphics reflecting the unique identities of each car brand.
With the design and concept approved, Interact then managed the build and assembly process working with their local manufacturing partners, before finally overseeing the distribution of 560 units to dealerships in every corner of the UK.
The entire concept was based around a self-assembly approach. Dealerships received an easy-to-use assembly kit, enabling them to easily put the unit together themselves on-site in the desired location. To support this, Interact created a step-by-step instructional video on the self-assembly process.
With just 6 weeks from concept to delivery, the Interact team pulled out all the stops to ensure a successful delivery of the project. The result was an attractive and intelligent point of sale solution, completed on-time and on-budget.
