Congratulations to David Harrison who has successfully completed the necessary qualifications to complete PAT testing of all our electrical equipment.
David attended a two-day City and Guilds training course, completing both written and practical assessments to achieve the following qualifications:
· Management requirements for the maintenance of electrical equipment: covering elements relating to the correct paperwork, classification and auditing of electrical testing
· In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT): covering the practical application of testing electrical equipment and making any necessary repairs or fixes
Having successfully gained the qualifications, David has spent a full week during January testing and documenting all the electrical equipment within Interact, including both office based and on-site apparatus.
As a Safe Contractor Approved business, the health and safety of our teams in the office and on site is central to how we work and David’s qualification means we will be able complete all PAT testing requirements in-house moving forward; with all equipment now signed-off as fit for service for the next 3 years.
